This book club on Lake Martin went all out with a theme around the big party scene from Working for Uncle Henry complete with champaign and props from the book scattered around the room. What a fun time with the ladies from The Ridge Book Club.

In my head, I know exactly how Henry Archer's growl of a voice sounds, and I attempt to read his lines that way. I always used various voices reading to my kids when they were little. It's the only way to read dialogue.
We had a great time listening to Henry and some of the other characters at my signing at the Adelia M. Russell Library.
